Known issues on the 2015 Passat. Two of the 7 recalls for the 2015 Passat involve the brakes. On certain 2015 Passat vehicles, the cam lobe that drives the brake vacuum pump could shear, taking away power assist and lengthening stops. A left-rear brake line may have been left loose on certain cars from a brief production run, a campaign that covered 62 vehicles, and leaking fluid could weaken braking. Certain vehicles from a separate build window had a fuel rail sealing cap that could fail and leak fuel into the engine bay.
