2015 Jaguar XF Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2015 XF. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. On 2.0L GTDi cars, underfloor fuel delivery lines can run with insufficient clearance to the under shield and body, chafing until a fuel leak develops near an ignition source. A separate 2.0L GTDi recall covers the Front End Auxiliary Drive idler pulley retaining bolt, which can fail and cause a loss of power steering assist. Certain 2015 units built in a narrow September 2014 window can have the FEAD belt, PAS pump pulley, or battery positive cable at the alternator work loose, risking an electrical short and fire or a loss of power steering. Two separate air bag recalls affect the car: driver-side frontal inflators missing a chemical enhancer needed for proper second-stage deployment, and passenger-side frontal inflators that can explode and send metal fragments into occupants. Owners have filed 19 complaints for the year. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
Whether you're inspecting the FEAD idler pulley, tracing a fuel line for chafing, or working through a routine service interval, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and correct specification for your specific 2015 XF.
