2014 Volkswagen Beetle Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2014 Beetle. Five recalls stand on the federal record for the 2014 Beetle. On certain 2014 Beetle vehicles with the smaller turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder and a torque converter automatic, the O-ring seals between the transmission and its oil cooler could leak fluid onto hot parts and start a fire. Certain cars also had a driver air bag inflator whose propellant could degrade in heat and humidity and rupture. On certain vehicles with automatic transmission, keyless entry and a manually operated handbrake, a contaminated shift lever switch could release the key outside Park.
