Known issues on the 2014 SRX. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year, both tied to the rear suspension toe adjuster link. The first covers a jam nut on the link that may not be torqued to specification, which can let the vehicle sway or wander at highway speed and lead to thread damage and eventual failure of the toe adjuster link, risking a loss of vehicle control. The second, issued later, covers the same rear toe link adjuster not being tightened properly, which can allow the link to separate and again cause a loss of vehicle control.
