2011 Cadillac SRX Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2011 SRX. Seven recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two involve the rear suspension toe link adjuster, which can be left improperly tightened or under-torqued, allowing it to loosen, sway, or fail outright and cause a loss of vehicle control. A third covers the power front seat height adjuster bolt, which can fall out and let the driver's seat drop suddenly to its lowest position. A fourth affects the automatic transmission shift cable, which can come loose from its bracket so the shifter falsely indicates Park while the vehicle is free to roll away. A fifth involves the electronic climate control module, whose software can disable the defrost system and cut driver visibility. A sixth covers software that turns off the right side roof-rail airbag when the passenger sensing system determines the right front passenger seat is unoccupied, which can leave a right rear occupant unprotected in a crash. The seventh covers the front seat belt buckle anchor, which can fracture and separate in a crash. Owners have filed 446 complaints for the year. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
Whether you're torquing the rear toe link, tracing a shift-cable fault, or working through a climate-control complaint, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2011 SRX.
