2007 GMC Savana 2500 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2007 GMC Savana 2500 covers a lineup relabeled into Base, LS and LT trims and narrowed to three engines: the turbocharged 6.6L V8 diesel and the naturally aspirated 6.0L and 4.8L V8s, both gasoline overhead-valve units. Known issues on the 2007 Savana 2500. Three recalls are listed against the 2007 van. Two concern platform wheelchair lifts installed by an upfitter, where the interlock and threshold warning did not meet the federal standard and the lift could move unexpectedly beneath its user. The third covers wiring left in place when the optional rear climate system was not installed: those exposed connectors and the circuit behind them can corrode, overheat and catch fire.
