Known issues on the 2002 Suburban 2500. Four recalls appear on the federal record for this year. One arrives through the parts counter: replacement fuel filters that seal poorly at the connection and can weep fuel where an ignition source waits. Another has the antilock brakes activating unbidden, which lengthens low-speed stops. A third covers aftermarket running-board courtesy lights whose harness overheats after soaking in moisture and road salt, melting the board or starting a fire.
