The download I received was a complete waste of my money. Was not even close to what it was represented as. I thought I was getting a proper service repair manual. What I got was a collection of service bulletins. I sent an email to your company right after I looked through it requesting my money back. Have yet to hear a response. Terry Muich

More detailed than I thought, still trying to navigate through it, not what I thought it would be, thought it would be more like the Haynes manual.

It was much larger than i expected. 5 documents at 12k pages each. Its not something ill actually be able read but its easy enough to find what you need..
The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.
If i spend the money for Adobe Acrobat Professional ill be able to break it down into manageable bits.
Both manuals area great value for the money.

Schematics were not high resolution making the markings and names difficult to read when zoomed in. Improvement is needed. Otherwise it is a good document.

I wasn’t sure why I needed this to be a PDF, but it was apparent once I got it. It includes what would be thousands of pages if it were in print. The links take you to wherever you need to go in the text.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Our original order was supposed to be for our 2014 Subaru Outback, yet the manual came up as Forester. We did have to purchase a new manual in order for them to send us the correct manual. We hope it will help us repair our Subaru.

Hyundai wrote one set of numbers for the 2001 Accent, and this factory service and repair manual carries exactly those: it is keyed to this year, to the 1.5L and 1.6L four-cylinder engines, and to the trims Hyundai actually sold, so the specification you follow is the one published for your car rather than a near match carried over from another Accent year.

Engines covered

  • 1.6L inline-four — DOHC, naturally aspirated, gasoline
  • 1.5L inline-four — SOHC, naturally aspirated, gasoline

Body styles covered

  • 4-door sedan
  • 2-door hatchback

Trims covered

  • GL
  • GS
  • L

Known issues on the 2001 Accent. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first is filed under structure, frame and members: certain passenger vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 201, "Occupant Protection in Interior Impact," a noncompliance identified during testing of the 3-door hatchback, and an occupant's head that contacts the A-pillar during a crash could experience an increased risk. The second is filed under vehicle speed control and applies to passenger vehicles equipped with 1.5 liter or 1.6 liter engines that were originally sold in or are currently registered in the states of Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois and Indiana, among others: moisture in the combustion chamber blowby gases may freeze inside the throttle body bore. Owners have filed 148 complaints for the year and Hyundai has issued 57 technical service bulletins.

From a throttle body that freezes on a cold morning to interior work around the A-pillars or a routine service interval on the 1.5L or 1.6L, it keeps you on Hyundai's own procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2001 Accent.

NHTSA #02V16700025/06/2002Component: STRUCTURE:FRAME AND MEMBERS

CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 201, "OCCUPANT PROTECTION IN INTERIOR IMPACT." DURING TESTING, THE 3-DOOR HATCHBACK EXCEEDED THE PERFORMANCE CRITERION IN THE STANDARD MIDWAY ALONG THE LENGTH OF THE WINDSHIELD SUPPORT PILLAR (A-PILLAR).

Consequence

AN OCCUPANT'S HEAD THAT CONTACTS THE A-PILLAR DURING A CRASH COULD EXPERIENCE AN INCREASED RISK OF A HEAD INJURY AS A RESULT OF THIS CONDITION.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSTALL NEW ENERGY MANAGEMENT BRACKETS TO SUPPORT THE A-PILLAR COVERS AND INCREASE THE ENERGY ABSORBING PERFORMANCE OF THE A-PILLAR IN THE RELEVANT AREA. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN OCTOBER 28, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT HYUNDAI AT 1-800-633-5151.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 1.5 LITER OR 1.6 LITER ENGINES THAT WERE ORIGINALLY SOLD IN OR CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN THE STATES OF ALASKA, COLORADO, IDAHO, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, IOWA, KANSAS, MAINE, MASSACHUSETTS, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, MONTANA, NORTH DAKOTA, NEBRASKA, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW YORK, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, SOUTH DAKOTA, VERMONT, WISCONSIN, AND WYOMING. WHILE DRIVING AT A STEADY THROTTLE OPENING FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME DURING EXTREMELY COLD AMBIENT TEMPERATURES (BELOW APPROXIMATELY -5 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT WITH HIGH HUMIDITY), MOISTURE IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER BLOWBY GASES CAN FREEZE AND BLOCK THE POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) VALVE AND HOSE

Consequence

MOISTURE IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER BLOWBY GASES MAY FREEZE INSIDE THE THROTTLE BODY BORE AND THROTTLE BODY IDLE SPEED CONTROL CIRCUIT RESULTING IN THE THROTTLE VALVE NOT CLOSING FULLY AND A HIGHER THAN NORMAL IDLE SPEED WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS RELEASED.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NEW, RELOCATED PCV HOSE AND WILL ADDITIONALLY INSTALL A HEATED THROTTLE BODY ON THE 2000-2001 ACCENTS EQUIPPED WITH 1.5 LITER ENGINES THAT WERE PRODUCED THROUGH JANUARY 31, 2001. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN APRIL 15, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT HYUNDAI AT 1-800-633-5151.
