The download I received was a complete waste of my money. Was not even close to what it was represented as. I thought I was getting a proper service repair manual. What I got was a collection of service bulletins. I sent an email to your company right after I looked through it requesting my money back. Have yet to hear a response. Terry Muich

More detailed than I thought, still trying to navigate through it, not what I thought it would be, thought it would be more like the Haynes manual.

It was much larger than i expected. 5 documents at 12k pages each. Its not something ill actually be able read but its easy enough to find what you need..
The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.
If i spend the money for Adobe Acrobat Professional ill be able to break it down into manageable bits.
Both manuals area great value for the money.

Excellent. Now I can actually start working on my cars again with confidence. YouTube videos really are inadequate.

Schematics were not high resolution making the markings and names difficult to read when zoomed in. Improvement is needed. Otherwise it is a good document.

Finding and ordering the manual for my vehicle was very easy

I wasn’t sure why I needed this to be a PDF, but it was apparent once I got it. It includes what would be thousands of pages if it were in print. The links take you to wherever you need to go in the text.

I didn’t realize I would have a link in an email to click to get another email with another link to download.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Our original order was supposed to be for our 2014 Subaru Outback, yet the manual came up as Forester. We did have to purchase a new manual in order for them to send us the correct manual. We hope it will help us repair our Subaru.

The 1999 Accent came as a four-door sedan and as a two-door hatchback, every one of them built around a single 1.5L four-cylinder, and this factory service and repair manual is matched to that exact year, engine and trim combination — the specifications in it are the ones Hyundai published for this car, not values carried over from another Accent model year.

Engines covered

  • 1.5L inline-four — SOHC, naturally aspirated, gasoline

Body styles covered

  • 4-door sedan
  • 2-door hatchback

Trims covered

  • GL
  • GS
  • L

Known issues on the 1999 Accent. One recall is on federal record for this model year, and it covers the automatic transmission: the pressure control solenoid valve seals do not remain sufficiently elastic, and the resulting slippage can cause premature deterioration of the friction element surfaces. Owners have filed 66 complaints for the year and Hyundai has issued 39 technical service bulletins.

From tracing a slipping automatic transmission to a scheduled service on the 1.5L four-cylinder, it keeps you on the factory procedure and the correct specification for your 1999 Accent.

NHTSA #99V17800007/07/1999Component: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE SEALS DO NOT REMAIN SUFFICIENTLY ELASTIC, RESULTING IN TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKAGE. THIS LEAKAGE CAN RESULT IN REDUCED PRESSURE APPLICATION TO THE CLUTCHES, BRAKE, AND KICKDOWN SERVO, ALLOWING THEM TO SLIP.

Consequence

SUCH SLIPPAGE CAN CAUSE PREMATURE DETERIORATION OF THE FRICTION ELEMENT SURFACES AND COULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE NOT TO ACCELERATE, OR NOT ACCELERATE AS EXPECTED, WHEN THE DRIVER PRESSES THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE.
