Known issues on the 1996 C3500. The federal record shows one recall, covering replacement oil filters that may not seal correctly, allowing engine oil to escape and create a fire hazard. Owner complaints are few — two in total, one on the engine and engine cooling and one on visibility. Neither suggests a pattern, so the manual functions here as a straightforward reference: cooling system service and specifications, engine mechanical and management procedures, and the wiring diagrams and diagnostic steps for the circuits that visibility equipment depends on.
