Known issues on the 1995 C3500. One recall applies, on replacement oil filters that can fail to seal and let engine oil escape where it may ignite. NHTSA holds five owner complaints, three of them on visibility with single reports against the service brakes and against the engine and engine cooling. Cooling is worth attention on a truck that tows, and the manual covers it thoroughly — radiator, coolant routing, thermostat and fan service with their specifications — alongside the brake system and the wiring diagrams for the circuits behind visibility equipment.
