Known issues on the 1996 P30. Owners have logged five complaints against this model year, four of them on the parking brake and one on the electrical system. On a commercial chassis, parking brake condition is worth the attention, and the manual gives the cable routing, adjustment procedure and lining specifications for it, along with the torque values for the anchors and hardware involved. The electrical sections carry wiring diagrams, connector locations and circuit tests for the chassis harness as it left the plant.
