The 1995 Toyota Pickup came with two engines, the 2.4L four (22RE) and the 3.0L V6 (3VZ-E), and this factory service and repair manual works to the figures Toyota published for that model year — the clearances, torque values and tightening sequences written for this pickup rather than approximations carried over from a neighboring year.

Known issues on the 1995 Pickup. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year, and two of them involve aftermarket exterior lighting. K2 Motor recalled 1,921 aftermarket headlamps that were missing the amber side reflex reflector; without those reflectors, lighting visibility may be affected. Dope, Inc. recalled 42,540 combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies sold as aftermarket equipment, where decreased lighting visibility may result in a vehicle crash. The third is a steering recall: when the steering wheel is repeatedly turned under conditions that demand high steering effort and power assist, and the truck continues to be operated in that condition, the relay rod may fracture. Owners have filed 52 complaints for the year, and 7 technical service bulletins have been issued.
Whether the job is a steering relay rod inspection, tracing an exterior lighting fault, or routine maintenance on either engine, the procedure you follow and the numbers you tighten to are Toyota's own for this 1995 Pickup.
