1995 GMC C2500 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1995 GMC C2500 serves Sierra SL, Sierra SLE and Sierra SLT trucks in standard cab, extended cab and cab and chassis form. Six engines are documented: the 4.3L V6, the 5.0L, 5.7L and 7.4L gasoline V8s, and the 6.5L diesel V8 in both turbocharged and naturally aspirated versions. On a working truck the differences that matter are cooling capacity, fuel delivery and torque figures, and the manual gives all three per engine rather than as a single set of numbers.

Known issues on the 1995 C2500. One recall is on the federal record for this model year, covering replacement oil filters that could seal poorly enough to lose engine oil, with a fire risk attached. Eight owner complaints are logged with NHTSA, four of them on the seats, with one each on the service brakes and visibility. Seat frame, track and mounting procedures answer the largest group; the brake sections give friction, hydraulic and rotor specifications; and the wiper and glass procedures cover the rest, all with torque values and diagnostic steps.
