1993 GMC C2500 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 1993 GMC C2500 documents Sierra, Sierra SLE and Sierra SLX trucks in three configurations, standard cab pickup, extended cab pickup and cab and chassis, with six engines between them. Known issues on the 1993 C2500. Fire is the thread running through both recall entries on this year's federal record. One covers replacement oil filters that may seal poorly and let engine oil escape; the other, transmission fluid forced out of the vent tube by unanticipated heat, which burns if it reaches a source of ignition. Owners have brought five complaints to NHTSA — two about the service brakes, one about engine and engine cooling, one about the seats.
