1994 GMC C2500 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 GMC C2500 covers six engines, two of which are versions of the same 6.5L diesel V8, one turbocharged and one naturally aspirated, with different boost, fueling and cooling requirements. The gasoline side is made up of the 4.3L V6 and the 5.0L, 5.7L and 7.4L V8s. Bodies are the standard cab pickup, the extended cab pickup and the cab and chassis; trims are Sierra SL, Sierra SLE and Sierra SLT. Engine sections stay separate so no specification is carried across by mistake.

Known issues on the 1994 C2500. One recall applies to this model year, and it involves replacement oil filters rather than a factory component: the affected filters could seal inadequately, letting engine oil escape with fire the possible consequence. Eight owner complaints are logged with NHTSA, three of them on visibility and one each on the fuel system and the seats. The lubrication, fuel delivery, wiper and seat sections here all carry removal and installation procedures, the specifications and torque values that go with them, and diagnostic steps for confirming a fault.
