Known issues on the 1994 Miata. One recall is on federal record for this model year, filed under exterior lighting: certain Pro-A Motors corner lamps, turn signals and headlights sold as replacement lamps for use on certain passenger vehicles. Some combination lamps that are not equipped with amber side reflectors fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, lamps, reflective devices and associated equipment. Without the amber reflectors the vehicle will be poorly illuminated, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash without warning. No owner complaints are logged against the year.
That single lighting recall and an empty complaint record are the whole federal picture for the 1994 Miata. Everything else on the car comes back to the 1.8L four and the two convertible trims above.
