Known issues on the 1992 Jimmy. Three recalls sit on the federal record. Replacement fuel return lines came with a bleed valve that was never tightened to the proper torque, letting fuel weep out and, near an ignition source, start a fire. Replacement lamps lacking amber side reflectors leave the truck poorly lit from the side. The switch that tells the antilock system whether the truck is in two- or four-wheel drive can malfunction and stretch stopping distances during an ABS stop.
