Known issues on the 1985 LeBaron. NHTSA lists five recalls for the 1985 LeBaron, several of them in the seats. On certain 1985 LeBaron vehicles with power-adjusted bucket seats, the driver seat frame could crack from fatigue at its front outboard mount and let the seat shift. On 208 of certain 1985 LeBaron vehicles with the optional front center cushion and armrest, the required center seat belt was left out and had to be installed. On certain cars with a particular engine fitment, a possibly loose clamp on the regulator fuel hose could leak and start a fire. Of 10 complaints, 2 reported a fire.
