Known issues on the 2023 Sprinter 2500. Seven recalls apply to the 2023 Sprinter 2500, most of them chassis and wiring faults. On certain vans the main wiring harness could rub against the drive shaft and short out, cutting drive power, power steering and brake control. Improperly heat-treated rear spring U-bolts on certain vans could let the axle move out of place, and certain vans had a right frame rail that might lack proper reinforcement for the third-row seats.
