The first covers the rear-view camera system: a software error can prevent the rear-view image from displaying when the vehicle shifts into reverse, reducing the driver's rear visibility and increasing the risk of a crash. The second covers the engine control module: a semiconductor inside the unit can short-circuit and cause the engine to stall. The third covers the infotainment main unit, which can sustain internal damage when the vehicle is shut off, leaving the rearview camera display inoperative the next time it starts.
