Known issues on the 2020 A4 Quattro. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers a rear axle alignment that may not have been properly inspected after an earlier repair, which can cause premature or uneven tire wear and increase the risk of a crash. The second covers the rear axle trailing arm lock nut, which can break from stress corrosion and misalign the rear axle, leading to a loss of control. The third covers a faulty connection in the Passenger Occupant Detection System's seat heater cable, which can cause the system to misdiagnose a malfunction and disable the passenger air bag. Owners have filed 127 complaints for this model year, and no technical service bulletins are logged.
