Certain vans equipped with a manual parking brake and the 7-speed automatic transmission could see the parking pawl's guide bushing fatigue, so the pawl might not engage and the van could roll. On certain vans, the instrument cluster could stay blank at startup, hiding speed, fuel level and warning lights. Certain vans may also be missing reinforcement fasteners in the longitudinal frame members, weakening stability and third-row seat mounts.
