Known issues on the 2015 Sprinter 3500. Thirteen recalls are recorded against the 2015 Sprinter 3500. On certain vans, the return hoses in the hydraulic power steering system could pull loose at their fittings, spilling fluid and removing assist without warning. A campaign covering certain vans dealt with a fuel tank missing both the protective plate on its front face and the foam ring at the filler neck, leaving it exposed in an impact; dealers replaced the tank. Certain camper and RV conversions risked stability control shutting off. Speed control leads the 30 complaints with 11, service brakes and stability control have 10 each, and 1 complaint reported an injury.
