Known issues on the 2019 Golf. Six campaigns in the federal record name the 2019 Golf. Front wheel bearings on certain 2019 Golf vehicles may have been machined incorrectly, overstressing the wheel, bolts and bearings; owners were told not to drive until dealers replaced the bearings, wheels and bolts. Certain 2019 Golf vehicles with a conventional ignition switch could see the switch fail, particularly in heat, shutting down the electrical system and stalling the engine. The tire pressure monitoring system on certain 2019 Golf vehicles might be slow to flag simultaneous deflation of the tires.
