Known issues on the 2019 Passport. Ten recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two cover software faults in the instrument panel and central network that can delay, disable, or block the rearview camera image along with critical dashboard readings such as oil pressure and speedometer. A hood latch striker can separate and let the hood open while driving, obstructing the driver's view. Some vehicles were fitted with Continental tires that were overcured during production and can develop sidewall breaks or belt separation, risking a loss of vehicle control. Two separate recalls cover low-pressure fuel pump failure inside the tank, which can stall the engine without warning.
