2017 Nissan LEAF Service and Repair Manual
Fitment for this 2017 Nissan LEAF service and repair manual is fixed by the exact year, powertrain and trim you own, right down to the EM57 electric drive motor and the high-voltage battery it runs from, so the values you work to are the ones Nissan set for this car rather than ones borrowed from an adjacent model year.

Known issues on the 2017 LEAF. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the air bags: due to a manufacturing error within the air bag inflators, the passenger frontal air bag may not properly deploy in the event of a crash, which can increase the risk of injury to passengers. The second covers the owner's manual: its instructions for defroster operation are incorrect and may result in reduced defroster performance under specific conditions, and reduced defroster performance can limit visibility out of the windshield, increasing the risk of a crash; the affected vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 103, "Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems." No owner complaints and no technical service bulletins are logged for the year.
From an air bag warning light to a windshield that will not clear, or scheduled service on the EM57 drive motor and its high-voltage battery, it keeps you on Nissan's own procedure and the correct specification for this 2017 LEAF.
