2015 Nissan LEAF Service and Repair Manual
Everything in this factory service and repair manual was written for the 2015 Nissan LEAF as Nissan assembled it, down to the EM57 motor and the trim your car left the line in, so the values, tolerances and tightening sequences you work to are the published ones for this car and not a figure carried over from an adjacent model year.

Known issues on the 2015 LEAF. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two of them involve the front passenger air bag: in one, a manufacturing error within the air bag inflators means the passenger frontal air bag may not properly deploy in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to passengers; in the other, the front seat passenger Occupant Classification System may incorrectly classify an adult passenger as a child or classify the seat as empty despite it being occupied, and if the passenger frontal air bag does not deploy as intended, the passenger is at an increased risk of injury. A third covers the service brakes: during very cold temperatures the relay inside the electronic brake booster may freeze, and if the brake relay fails, longer distances or additional brake effort would be required to stop the vehicle. The fourth is a compliance recall on the Owner's Manual defroster operating instructions, which are incorrect and may result in reduced defroster performance, limiting visibility out of the windshield. Owners have filed 109 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are on record for it.
Whether you are testing the brake booster relay, working through an air bag or occupant-classification fault code, or servicing the high-voltage battery system, the manual holds you to the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your 2015 LEAF.
