Fitment for this 2016 Lexus LX 570 service and repair manual is set by the year, engine and trim of the truck in your driveway, so the specifications, torque values and service intervals it gives for the 5.7L V8 (3UR-FE) are the ones Lexus published for the 2016 model year rather than numbers carried over from an adjacent year.

Known issues on the 2016 LX 570. One recall is on federal record for this model year, and it covers the passenger-side frontal air bag inflator module: over time the seat belt tension sensor wire harness may break and deactivate the front passenger air bag, the knee air bag and the passenger seat-mounted side air bag, and in the event of a crash deactivated air bags can increase the risk of injury. Owners have filed 2 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins have been issued for it. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind that restraint system and its wiring are here.
From the seat belt tension sensor wire harness behind that recall to a scheduled service on the 5.7L V8, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2016 LX 570.
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2008-2019 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX 570 vehicles. Over time, the seat belt tension sensor wire harness may break and deactivate the front passenger air bag, knee air bag, and passenger seat-mounted side airbag.

TAKATA RECALL. SCREEN SAYS: SRS AIRBAG SYSTEM MALFUNCTION HAS BEEN DETECTED. ADVISES TO CONTACT OUR LEXUS DEALER IMMEDIATELY TO HAVE VEHICLE INSPECTED. WE HAVE DONE THIS AT LEAST 3 SEPARATE TIMES. NO ETA AS TO WHEN THIS ISSUE WILL BE RESOLVED.
WHILE DRIVING AT A SNOW STORM (LAKE TAHOE AREA, HWY 50), I HAD TO STOP EVERY 10-15 MINUTES TO CLEAR MY HEADLIGHTS, WHICH WERE ALMOST COMPLETELY COVERED BY SNOW. IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS. ALMOST ZERO VISIBILITY, NOWHERE TO STOP SAFELY... LED HEADLIGHTS DO NO PRODUCE ENOUGH HEAT TO MELT THE SNOW. LEXUS PROBABLY FIXED IT AT 2018/2019 MODEL YEARS AND USED HEATING AT THE HEADLIGHTS. BUT OLDER MODEL YEARS (2016, MAYBE ALSO 2017) ARE VERY DANGEROUS WHILE DRIVING AT SNOW.
