Three separately-filed campaigns cover the same underlying fault: the ABS actuator can leak brake fluid onto its internal circuit board, creating an electrical short and a fire risk. A fourth recall covers a different ABS actuator defect, where contamination in the solenoid valves can prevent them from fully closing or opening, potentially causing a loss of vehicle stability during ABS activation. A fifth recall covers the front passenger Occupant Classification System, which may misread an adult as a child or read the seat as empty, so the frontal air bag may not deploy as intended in a crash.
