2006 Nissan Murano Service and Repair Manual
This 2006 Nissan Murano factory service and repair manual is built around this exact model year and its 3.5L V6 (VQ35DE), so the torque values, fluid capacities, and diagnostic steps inside are the ones Nissan documented for this powertrain rather than a generic Murano-era approximation.

Known issues on the 2006 Murano. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the intake air ducts, which can separate from the intermediate resonator as the material prematurely shrinks with engine movement, and the engine may stall and increase the risk of a crash. The second covers the rear outboard seat belt webbing, which can contact the sharp edge of the rear seat back hinge in a high-speed frontal crash and separate, raising injury risk to an occupant. The third covers the fuel tank, where its forward edge position lets a road object thrown up by the front tire puncture the tank and increase fire risk. The fourth covers the steering column anti-theft lock, which can lock the steering wheel if the key is turned off before the transmission is in park. Owners have filed 803 complaints for the year and no technical service bulletins are logged. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From an intake duct inspection to a fuel tank shield check or steering lock diagnosis, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2006 Murano.
