Known issues on the 2015 Yukon. The federal record for this Yukon carries eight recalls. Steering assist is the thread through two of them: on some trucks the electric assist cuts out and then snaps back, which makes the truck hard to hold at low speed, and on others the steering module drops assist outright while the vehicle is moving. Brake feel shows up as well, through a vacuum pump whose output weakens with age until the pedal wants more effort. Of 546 owner complaints, 234 name exterior lighting and 69 the electrical system, so the wiring diagrams and circuit diagnostics here carry much of the weight.
