Known issues on the 2008 Yukon. Four recalls stand on the record, and they fall into two pairs. Two address a passenger-side frontal inflator that can burst when it deploys and send metal fragments through the cabin. The other two concern the heated washer fluid module, which can short internally, smoke, and in the worst case ignite. Owner complaints run to 411, with 189 naming the air bags, 55 the electrical system and 32 structure.
