Known issues on the 2006 Yukon. Three recalls are logged. One involves a power steering hose built outside specification that can fracture and lose fluid during hard lock-to-lock steering, taking steering assist with it and, on trucks with hydro-boost brakes, some brake assist too. A second concerns tire and loading labels printed with an inaccurate vehicle capacity weight, which can lead to overloading or wrong inflation. The third covers replacement wheel hubs that can lose retention. With 83 complaints logged, led by the service brakes and stability control, the hydraulic and chassis sections here carry the load.
