A manufacturing flaw in the restraint control unit of certain 2013 S60 cars could fire a seat belt pretensioner or the side curtain airbag with no crash, distracting the driver and blocking the view; the unit was replaced before those cars were sold. Certain cars may have a door latch with a part that breaks, so a door can look shut and then open while driving. Owners have filed 86 complaints — 36 on the engine, 7 each on air bags and the electrical system, and 5 each on the power train and service brakes.
