Known issues on the 2007 S60. Two recalls are on the federal record for the 2007 S60. The first covered certain 2007 S60 cars whose driver's airbag inflator could come apart as the bag deployed, after heat, humidity and temperature swings broke down its propellant; dealers installed a replacement driver airbag. The second concerned certain cars with a Garmin 760 portable navigation unit, where the battery could overheat and catch fire. Owners filed 21 complaints, 7 of them on the electrical system and 5 on air bags, followed by 3 on the power train and 2 each on stability control and the engine.
