2010 Ford E-250 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2010 Ford E-250 has a fuel-flexible pair to cover: the 4.6L SOHC V8 on flex-fuel and the 5.4L SOHC V8, which could run on LPG, on flex-fuel or on CNG. One Base trim is listed and three bodies, the extended and standard three-door cargo vans and the two-door cutaway. Between them those engines take in gasoline blends, propane and natural gas, so the fuel storage and delivery differences have to stay straight, and procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are split by system to keep them so.
Engines covered
- 4.6L V8 (281 cu in) — SOHC, naturally aspirated, flex-fuel
- 5.4L V8 (330 cu in) — SOHC, naturally aspirated, LPG (propane) or flex-fuel or CNG
Body styles covered
- 3-door extended cargo van
- 3-door standard cargo van
- 2-door cutaway van
Trims covered

Known issues on the 2010 E-250. The federal record holds eight recalls for this van. Six are wheelchair lift campaigns from van converters, where cracked platform side plates or out-of-position bearings can let the platform move or separate. The other two come from a propane conversion supplier: fuel lines and fittings on one, the fuel injection system on the other, each raising the risk of a propane leak and fire. Owners have logged nine complaints with NHTSA, clustering on the electrical system, the suspension and the structure. Fuel delivery, suspension and body procedures, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics all appear here.
