2003 Ford E-250 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2003 Ford E-250 covers the van in its Base and Base Stripped trims, with three engines to account for: the 4.2L OHV V6, the 5.4L SOHC V8 that could be ordered on gasoline or CNG, and the 4.6L SOHC V8. Three configurations are documented, the two-door standard cargo van, the bare chassis and the two-door extended cargo van, so the same book serves a finished van and a chassis still waiting on an upfitter. Procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are arranged by system.

The fourth is a certification label giving the wrong rear axle rating on vans built with one particular tire size. Owners have logged 22 complaints with NHTSA.
