This factory service and repair manual for the 2007 Ford E-250 covers three configurations in a single Base trim: the three-door extended cargo van, the three-door standard cargo van and the two-door cutaway van. Known issues on the 2007 E-250. Eight recalls sit on the federal record for the 2007 E-250, and seven of them come from van converters. Those cover wheelchair lifts whose platform side plates can crack or whose bearings can move out of position, either of which can let the platform shift or separate. The eighth is Ford's own campaign on replacement fuel tanks drilled with an extra sensor hole that could leak. Owners have logged six complaints with NHTSA, on air bags, the fuel and propulsion system and engine cooling. Fuel storage, cooling and restraint wiring all have procedures and diagnostics here.
