Known issues on the 2010 Avenger. Three recalls are on the federal record for this year. On certain 2010 Avenger vehicles, the occupant restraint control module could short circuit and keep the frontal and side air bags and the belt pretensioners from firing in a crash; dealers are to replace the module. Certain 2010 Avenger vehicles could also have a power steering pressure hose part at its crimped end, a fire risk, and on certain 2010 Avenger vehicles the brake booster input rod retaining clip could be missing or poorly formed, which could lead to brake failure.
