The first falls under engine and engine cooling and concerns the engine control module on 2005-2008 Corolla and Corolla Matrix vehicles built with that engine and two-wheel drive; the recorded consequence goes no further than noting that a variety of warnings and consequences are associated with the defect. The second falls under equipment labels, from Gulf States Toyota on certain 2005-2010 vehicles that failed to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims"; the recorded consequence is simply that this does not meet the standard requirements. There are 56 owner complaints logged against the 2008 Matrix and 78 technical service bulletins issued for it.
