Known issues on the 2007 CX-9. One recall is on federal record for this model year, and it is filed against the electrical system wiring, interior/under dash. On CX-9s built with the power adjustable seat with position memory function, the seat harness routed underneath the seat cushion may interfere with the front cover bracket attached on the front side of the seat cushion; the covering of the seat harness may be damaged, the core wire of the harness may touch the bracket and result in a short circuit. Mazda recalled 30,600 model year 2007-2009 CX-9 vehicles for it, and the consequence on record is that drivers will experience certain functions that are uncontrollable, which will cause serious difficulties in driving and increase the risk of a crash.
