The download I received was a complete waste of my money. Was not even close to what it was represented as. I thought I was getting a proper service repair manual. What I got was a collection of service bulletins. I sent an email to your company right after I looked through it requesting my money back. Have yet to hear a response. Terry Muich

More detailed than I thought, still trying to navigate through it, not what I thought it would be, thought it would be more like the Haynes manual.

It was much larger than i expected. 5 documents at 12k pages each. Its not something ill actually be able read but its easy enough to find what you need..
The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.
If i spend the money for Adobe Acrobat Professional ill be able to break it down into manageable bits.
Both manuals area great value for the money.

Excellent. Now I can actually start working on my cars again with confidence. YouTube videos really are inadequate.

Schematics were not high resolution making the markings and names difficult to read when zoomed in. Improvement is needed. Otherwise it is a good document.

I wasn’t sure why I needed this to be a PDF, but it was apparent once I got it. It includes what would be thousands of pages if it were in print. The links take you to wherever you need to go in the text.

I didn’t realize I would have a link in an email to click to get another email with another link to download.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Our original order was supposed to be for our 2014 Subaru Outback, yet the manual came up as Forester. We did have to purchase a new manual in order for them to send us the correct manual. We hope it will help us repair our Subaru.

Because this 2006 Scion tC service and repair manual is matched to the exact year, engine and trim in your driveway, every specification and torque sequence it gives is the one written for the 2.4L four (2AZ-FE) as Scion built it for 2006, not a figure averaged across the tC's production run.

Engines

  • 2.4L l4 GAS Naturally Aspirated

Trims

  • Automatic
  • Standard

Known issues on the 2006 tC. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two are label compliance actions: certain vehicles recalled by Gulf States Toyota and by Southeast Toyota were sold without the load carrying capacity modification labels required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 110, which does not meet the standard requirements, and a driver may overload a vehicle, which may increase the risk of a crash. A third covers the sun and moon roof assembly, where pieces of the wind deflector glass may separate from the frame and fall upon the vehicle occupants, causing driver distraction and/or injury. The fourth covers the air bags: inflators assembled with an insufficient amount of the heating agents needed for proper deployment may increase the risk of injury to the occupant in the involved seating position in the event of a crash. The fifth covers the side impact seat-bolster and curtain side airbags, which may inadvertently deploy if the door on that side is closed with a high rate of force while the ignition is in the on position or within 90 seconds of turning the ignition from on to off, and could cause personal injury to an occupant seated on that side of the vehicle. Owners have filed 196 complaints for the year and Scion has issued 37 technical service bulletins. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.

Whether the job is an air bag system diagnosis, a moonroof assembly inspection or a routine service interval, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2006 tC.

No active recalls The 2006 Scion tC has no recalls on file with NHTSA.
No service bulletins No technical service bulletins on file with NHTSA for the 2006 Scion tC.
