Known issues on the 2006 Sedona. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. One covers the brake light switch: the stop lamp switch may malfunction, and such a malfunction may lead to a crash. Another covers the electrical system, where moisture may enter the anti-lock brake (ABS) module and result in an electrical short, and that short may cause an engine compartment fire. Two more address the front lower control arms, where a broken control arm can result in the loss of control of the vehicle. The fifth concerns the secondary hood latch, for the condition in which the primary latch is inadvertently released and the secondary latch is not engaged.
