Known issues on the 2005 Savana 3500. The federal record carries five recalls for this model year. One concerns a hydraulic brake booster accumulator that can crack and separate from its assembly; another covers seat belt buckles that will not latch or unlatch; a third involves unused rear air-conditioning blower wiring on cutaway chassis that can corrode at exposed connectors and overheat into a fire. Two more concern wheelchair lift installations that can move unintentionally. Twenty-three owner complaints are recorded, the service brakes drawing the most, then the body structure and the steering.
