Known issues on the 2004 Venture. Five recalls are recorded federally for this model year. A fuel tank inlet check valve can fracture under heat or process variation, letting fuel escape toward an ignition source. A passenger who holds the interior handle while the power sliding door motors open can have a wrist or forearm trapped against the seat. Replacement steering knuckles sold for these vans can break at the hub and cost the driver steering control. Of 124 complaints, the electrical system leads at 34, then structure at 17 and latches and linkages at 12.
