1999 GMC P3500 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1999 GMC P3500 keeps five engines in scope: the turbocharged 6.5L V8 diesel, the naturally aspirated 6.5L V8 diesel, the 7.4L V8, the 4.3L V6 and the 5.7L V8. Body entries number three, chassis, stripped motorhome chassis and two-door cab and chassis, and trims two, Base and Base Stripped. The reference is built by system, so the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for a job are found in one place regardless of which body the frame is carrying.

Known issues on the 1999 P3500. Federal records carry no recalls and no owner complaints for the 1999 P3500. Absent any campaign history, the manual is used the way any factory book is on an older commercial chassis: to get the correct procedure, the correct specification and the correct torque value for the engine in the truck, and to read the wiring diagrams and follow the diagnostics when a circuit somewhere between the cab and the body stops behaving.
