1998 GMC P3500 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1998 GMC P3500 is organized around five engines and three unfinished body configurations. The engines run from the turbocharged 6.5L V8 diesel and its naturally aspirated counterpart to the 7.4L V8, the 4.3L V6 and the 5.7L V8 on gasoline; the bodies are the chassis, the stripped motorhome chassis and the two-door cab and chassis, in Base and Base Stripped trim. Procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are all filed by system, and per engine wherever the numbers diverge.

Known issues on the 1998 P3500. The 1998 P3500 has neither a recall nor an owner complaint on the federal record. What is left to describe is the coverage itself, which follows both 6.5L diesels and the three gasoline engines through their service procedures, states the specifications and torque values that apply to each, and provides wiring diagrams and diagnostic sequences for the electrical systems on a chassis that was almost always finished by someone other than GMC.
