This factory service and repair manual for the 1995 GMC G2500 is written for a van sold in three trims, Rally, Rally STX and Vandura, on three 3-door bodies that run from a standard cargo van to extended cargo and passenger versions. Known issues on the 1995 G2500. Two recalls are on the federal record for the 1995 G2500. One concerns replacement fuel filters that may seal poorly at the connection, allowing fuel to leak and, with an ignition source present, to catch fire; the other concerns replacement oil filters that may seal inadequately and lose engine oil, also with a fire risk. One owner complaint is logged with NHTSA, recorded against the air bags. Fuel system service, engine lubrication and the restraint system wiring and diagnostics are all documented in this manual.
