Known issues on the 1993 G30. Three recalls are recorded for this model year. The front lower control arm can crack at the flange near the ball joint pad, and a ball joint that separates from the arm takes steering control with it. The other two involve replacement filters: a fuel filter that leaks at an unsealed connection, and an oil filter that lets the engine empty itself, both with fire as the consequence. Five complaints are on record, two of them on the service brakes. Ball joint inspection limits, control arm torque values and brake specifications are all here.
